As the newly appointed president of Honda Tsushin Kogyo, I would like to extend my sincere greetings to our valuable current and future customers, shareholders, as well as to all who access to our Web site. It was our former president Mr. Miyazaki’s decision to transfer responsibility to a new management team as of April 1, in order to make a fresh start in our newly established mid-term corporate plan (‘Plan 80’) designed to drive us forward up until 2012, the year of the company’s 80th anniversary. I am determined to make every effort to take the company to a new and higher standard so as to meet the expectations of our customers..

The severe environment which our industry has faced over past years is finally on the verge of recovery. During this period of hardship, we have been steadily consolidating our corporate foundations for future development, with extensive support from our new business partner, Panasonic Electric Works. Under Plan 80, we are committed to establish Honda Tsushin Kogyo as a leading, customer-oriented company with top share products in numerous connector segments, and have stepped up into top gear in order to achieve this objective. 4 keywords have been identified as our business principles; ‘focus, attack, new and speed’. We will focus management resources on strategic areas to attack potential markets in order to deliver new products with a speed that will exceed the expectation of our customers.
